Pasta is a staple food of traditional Italian cuisine, with the first reference dating to 1154 in Sicily. Over the years, it has become more and more popular across the world due to it simplicity and ease of cooking.
Also commonly used to refer to the variety of recipes and dishes, pasta is typically a noodle. It is made from an unleavened dough of a durum wheat flour mixed with water or eggs. The mixture is then formed into sheets or various shapes and sizes., then cooked by boiling or baking. Pasta comes in two styles, dried (secca) and fresh (fresca). These are just some of the many favourite recipe:- Spaghetti alla Carbonara, Italian Bologna-Style Meat Sauce – Ragu Bolognese.  Baked Lasagna and Seafood Fettuccini are just a few of a vast library.

Tip:
Cook until its al dente and then finish it off in the pan with the sauce. This way it absorbs the flavours so much more. Don’t forget to season the boiling water.
