A prohibition busting drink when it was very popular when consumed as a starter. A Bloody Good Bloody Mary is one of those unique drinks that can be prepared as a cocktail to drink. Also the same recipe is a marinade to cook meat in slowly. Both methods are delicious and nothing is ever wasted. Marinating meat creates a flavour that packs a punch but is subtle enough to avoid getting you drunk. In the 1920s an American bartender Fernand Petiot at Harry’s New York Bar in Paris, mixed tomato juice and vodka. He later added black pepper, Tabasco Sauce and Worcestershire Sauce to spice up the drink. His creation became world famous when he with the suggestion to call the drink “Bloody Mary.”
