Apricot Baked Ham is a simple dish that is ideal for so many uses. Whether it be part of a main dish, side dish or even as part of a buffet. The simple recipe transforms a normal ham into a delight that will bring a smile to everyones face. This can be served with roast potatoes, and vegetables for a main course or as a side dish with a buffet. However, one of my favourites in cold in a sandwich with a little pickle. The pickle acts as a contrast to the apricot jam (conserve) and works so well. Using a baked ham makes life easier or you can start from scratch and adapt our Glazed Ham recipe. Apricot Baked Ham is a superb main dish all year round but especially at Christmas when cold meat meals are ideal after days of roast meals. You can of course use other furit conserves but apricot is sweet without being overpowering.
