Add the beef slices and coat well. Set aside to marinate for 5–10 minutes.
250 g beef slices
Heat a pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add a little oil if needed.
Sear the marinated beef slices for 2–3 minutes on each side, until browned and cooked through. Remove from heat In a separate pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil over medium heat. Crack an egg into the pan and cook until the whites are set but the yolk remains runny. Repeat for the second egg.
2 tbsp cooking oil, 2 large eggs
Place a serving of steamed rice on a plate or in a bowl. Arrange the beef slices over the rice. Gently place a fried egg on top.

Just before eating, pierce the egg yolk and mix it into the rice and beef. Serve alongside your chosen side dish, such as pickled vegetables or miso soup.
