A Bloody Mary is aone of those unique drinks that can be prepared as a cocktail to drink and as a marinade to cook meat in slowly. Both methods are delicious. During Prohibition it was actually a popular starter.
Servings 1 Cocktail
Ingredients
- 2 shots vodka
- 1/2 fresh lemon juice only
- 6 dashes Worcestershire Sauce
- 3 dashes Tabasco sauce
- 150 ml Tomato juice 5 fl oz
- 2 large ice cubes
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
Instructions
- Place the ice into a tall glass and add the vodka.
- Add the lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce and tomato juice.
- Stir well.
- Adjust the seasoning, to taste, with salt and pepper and serve straight away.
