chicken breast
halves skinless

onions
finely chopped
1
whole
cinnamon stick

cups
chicken stock

chickpeas
drained
1/2
cup
blanched almonds
1/2
tsp
saffron
salt
to taste
ground pepper
to taste
parsley
chopped
Instructions
Combine all ingredients except the parsley in a pot and bring to a boil over high heat.
6 large chicken breast,
2 large onions,
1 whole cinnamon stick,
2 cups chicken stock,
15 oz chickpeas,
1/2 cup blanched almonds,
1/2 tsp saffron,
salt,
ground pepper
Reduce the heat and simmer covered until the chicken is cooked through, about 30 minutes.
Serve garnished with chopped parsley.
