Instructions
Season the whole chicken with salt and pepper or your favorite dry rub.
Empty about half of the beer from the can and place the can upright in the cavity of the chicken.
Carefully place the chicken upright on the grill over indirect heat, using the can and the chicken's legs to balance it.
Grill over indirect heat until the internal temperature in the thigh is 160F (70C) and the juices run clear.
Carefully remove the chicken with the beer can (the can will be hot) and allow to rest for 15 minutes before lifting it off the can.
