Turmeric Latte

Ingredients

500 ml milk dairy, oat, or almond all work well
1 tsp ground turmeric
½ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground ginger
1 tsp honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
½ tsp vanilla extract optional
1 pinch black pepper small

Instructions

Pour the milk into a small saucepan and place it over low to medium heat.

Add the turmeric, cinnamon and ginger to the milk. Stir well to combine.

Sprinkle in the black pepper. This helps bring out the turmeric flavour.

Warm the mixture gently. Do not let it boil. Stir often to keep it smooth.

Remove the pan from the heat. Add the vanilla extract if using.

Whisk lightly to create a slightly frothy texture.
Pour into mugs and serve straight away.
