Taste and adjust the chilli to your preferred heat.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan or oven-proof skillet over medium heat.
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Add the wings and cook for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally until they are golden brown and almost cooked through.
16 large chicken wings
Pour the prepared chilli sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
Reduce heat to low and cook for another 5–8 minutes, turning occasionally, until the wings are fully cooked and the sauce has thickened slightly.
Transfer wings to a serving platter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped spring onions for colour and a touch of crunch.
