In a separate mixing bowl add the wet ingredients starting with the eggs which should be beaten. Then add the butter, vanilla and milk and stir together.
2 large eggs, 1 ½ cups full fat milk, 1/3 cup unsalted butter, 1 tsp vanilla extract
Carefully add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk/stir until completely blended into a smooth batter with no lumps.
When the waffle maker has reached temperature, lift the lid and spoon/ladle the batter onto the waffle plates.
Close the lid and cook the waffles until crispy with a golden-brown colour.
Remove from the waffle iron and add the yogurt, honey and a scattering of fruit.
10 oz blueberries, 10 oz strawberries, honey, 4 tbsp low fat yogurt
Eat immediately.
Notes
I like to produce large waffles and this recipes produces about 2 but this will depend on the size of your waffle maker.
