Instructions
Set the slow cooker on high heat and melt the butter.

Sauté the onion and garlic until tender but not brown, about 10 minutes.

Reduce the heat to low and add the remaining ingredients.
2 large tomatoes,
4 oz green chillies,
2 1/2 cups Monterey jack
Cook covered for 1 hour, until the cheese is completely melted. Serve with tortilla chips.
