1
tbsp
oil
sunflower
Instructions
Place a large saucepan over a low heat and add the oil.
1 tbsp oil
When the oil has warmed up, add the popping corn and either move the pan or gently stir with a spoon so the corn gets coated in the oil.
75 g popping corn
Add the lid and leave over the heat until all of the popping noise has stopped. Give it a shake every now frequently to prevent it sticking together.
Place a smaller pan over a medium heat and add the other three ingredients and stir well.
100 g light brown sugar,
50 g salted butter,
2 tbsp syrup
Turn up the heat and allow the mixture to bubble gently for 1 ½ minutes.
Carefully pour the sauce over the popcorn and either shake well or stir to coat everything.
Cover a large enough baking tray with greaseproof/baking paper.
Transfer the popcorn onto the tray and allow to cool for about 10 – 15 minutes.
Place in bowls and tuck in.
