Instructions
Place a saucepan with the water and rice with a pinch of salt over a medium high heat and bring to a rolling simmer.
1 cup rice,
2 cups water,
1 pinch salt
Pop the lid on and reduce the heat to low and leave for 11-13 minutes until all of the water has been absorbed. Do not remove the lid at all.
When the water has gone, remove from the heat but leave the lid on for a further 10 minutes to steam.
Remove the lid and using a spatula or fork, gently fluff the rice to loosen. Serve
