Salmon Mousse with Sour Cream Dill Sauce

Ingredients

gelatin
unflavoured

cold water

boiling water

mayonnaise

lemon juice

onion
grated

Tabasco sauce

paprika

tsp
Salt

salmon
can/drained chopped

tbsp
capers
chopped

cup
cottage cheese
1/2
cup
heavy cream
1
cup
sour cream
1
cup
dill sauce
Instructions
Soften the gelatin in the cold water, add the boiling water and stir until the gelatin has dissolved. Cool.
1 envelope gelatin,
1/4 cup cold water,
1/2 cup boiling water
Add the mayonnaise, lemon juice, onion, tabasco, paprika and salt and mix well.

1 Tbsp lemon juice,
1 tb onion,
1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce,
1/4 tsp paprika,
1 tsp Salt
Chill to the consistency of unbeaten egg white.
Add the salmon and capers and beat well.
2 cup salmon,
1 tbsp capers
Whip the cream, fold into the salmon mixture and turn out into a 2 quart oiled mould.
1/2 cup heavy cream
Add the cheese to fill the mould.
1 cup cottage cheese
Chill until set.
Unmould on a serving platter and garnish with watercress, lemon
slices and salmon roe. Serve with sour cream dill sauce.
