Ingredients
3
lbs
pork shoulder
boneless 1350 g,
1
tbsp
Worcestershire Sauce
15 ml
1/4
cup
Dijon mustard
60 ml
1
cup
ketchup
250 ml
1
cup
chili sauce
250 ml
2
tbsp
cider
30 ml
1/2
tsp
red pepper flakes
or to taste, 2 ml
4
cloves
garlic
finely chopped
Instructions
Combine all ingredients except the pork roast in a saucepan over moderate heat and bring to a boil.
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce,
1/4 cup Dijon mustard,
1 cup ketchup,
1 cup chili sauce,
2 tbsp cider,
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes,
4 cloves garlic
Simmer for 5 minutes, remove from the heat and allow to cool.
Place the roast in a large plastic bag and add the sauce.
3 lbs pork shoulder
Marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
Remove the roast from the marinade and place in the slow cooker.
Add 3/4 cup (180 ml) water to the marinade and add to the slow cooker.
Cook covered on low heat for 8 to 10 hours.
Remove the roast from the sauce and allow to rest for 15 minutes before slicing or shredding.
Enjoy
Notes
Remember to trim off the excess fat.
