Ingredients

strawberries
fresh

whole milk

heavy cream

sugar
caster

vanilla extract

Instructions
Place the strawberries into a large mixing bowl and using the back of a fork mash into a thick pulp.
290 g strawberries
Add the milk, cream, sugar, vanilla extract and salt into the bowl without the strawberries and stir well to mix.
475 ml whole milk,
475 ml heavy cream,
200 g sugar,
2 tsp vanilla extract,
¼ tsp salt
Pour the mixed version into the bowl of an ice cream maker and freeze per the machine’s instructions.
Once the process has completed, transfer the ice cream to an airtight freezer safe container and place in the freezer to fully freeze.
When needed remove from the freezer, scoop out what you need and put the rest back.
