Instructions
Heat the oil in a skillet over moderate heat and saute the onion and garlic until tender but not brown, about 5 minutes.
Combine with the remaining ingredients and mix gently but thoroughly.
Form into 4 to 6 patties and grill directly over hot coals to an internal temperature of 160F (70C).
Top each burger with about 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of ketchup after turning.
