herring kippers

butter
30 ml

whole
lemon
juice only
ground pepper
to taste
Instructions
Place the kippers skin side down on a hot grill or griddle and dot with butter.
Cook 4 to 5 minutes, without turning, until very hot.
Season with pepper and lemon juice.
Best served with scrambled eggs and warm toast.
