plaice
skin on

butter

olive oil

lemon
wedges

sprigs
dill
⅕
bunch
parsley
finely chopped.

plain flour
for dredging

Instructions
Pour the flour into a shallow bowl and season well with the salt and pepper.

Place a frying pan over a high heat and add the butter and the oil.

½ tbsp olive oil
Put the Plaice into the seasoned flour and coat both side well. Shake off any excess.
2 large plaice
When the butter is foaming carefully add the plaice to the pan skin side up and fry until golden. About 4 minutes.
Flip the Plaice over and cook for a further 4 minutes until cooked through.
Serve hot with a wedge of lemon, sprigs of dill and the chopped parsley.
