Bacon and Egg Quiche
A favourite of Bacon and Egg Quiche. What could be more tasty than a quiche. Have it hot or cold with a picnic. Add Peppers and Chillies for adult version.

Instructions
Roll out pastry to line a 23cm flan tin.
Heat olive oil in a pan.
1 tbsp olive oil
When hot, add the bacon and onion any fry until the bacon is cooked and the onions are translucent.
200 g bacon,
1 medium onion
In a mixing bowl, beat the milk and egg together with a salt and pepper, The bacon can be salty so go lightly on the salt.
120 ml milk,
3 large eggs
Add the cooked onion and bacon to the mixing bowl and stir to combine.
Pour the mixture into the flan case.
1 pack shortcrust pastry
Sprinkle with grated cheese.
120 g Cheddar cheese
Bake in the oven Gas 6/200C/400F for 40 minutes till the filling is set and golden brown.
