Bouquet Garni
Bouquet Garni is simply a bunch of herbs tied together. They’re then wrapped in cheesecloth or enclosed in a tea infuser, and used to flavour soups, stocks, stews, and sauces. Any combination of herbs and aromatic vegetables may be considered a bouquet garni. However the classic trio is parsley stems, thyme, and bay leaf. Unlike other herbal combinations, a bouquet garni is meant to be removed from the dish before serving.
