Add the mayonnaise, cider and white vinegars, sugar, celery seeds into a large mixing bowl and stir well to combine. Taste and add salt and pepper if required.
½ cup mayonnaise, ½ tbsp cider vinegar, 1 tbsp white vinegar, 2 tsp sugar, ½ tsp celery seeds, salt, ground pepper
Add the cabbage, carrot, apple and sultanas to the dressing and toss to coat.
3 cups white cabbage, 1 cup carrot, 1 large apple, 1/3 cup sultanas
Cover with clingfilm/plastic wrap and place in the fridge for the flavours to incorporate. Ideally over an hour.
Serve when required.
Notes
I like to use celery seeds in coleslaw, breads, soups and so many other dishes. They provide and celery flavour with an earthy savoury flavour as well. Lovely.
