Ingredients
- 2 rashers smoked back bacon trim/chop
- 2 large mushrooms clean/slice
- 2 large spring onions finely sliced
- 50 g peas frozen
- 200 ml vegetable stock or chicken
- 2 tsp cornflour
- 150 g noodles straight to wok style
- 1 dash hoisin sauce or Worcestershire
- ¼ tsp paprika little heat
Instructions
- Place a small frying pan over a high heat and fry the bacon until starting to turn brown.2 rashers smoked back bacon
- Add the mushrooms and spring onions (scallions), frozen peas, paprika and continue to cook for 1 – 2 minutes. The mushrooms and peas should be cooked.2 large mushrooms, 2 large spring onions, 50 g peas, ¼ tsp paprika
- In a normal mug, mix the cornflour with a little of the vegetable stock and mix into a paste. Add to the pan and stir in.200 ml vegetable stock, 2 tsp cornflour
- 1 dash hoisin sauce
- Finally add the noodles and allow to simmer for a few minutes for the noodles to cook and absorb the flavours.150 g noodles
- Serve in warmed bowls.
