Teriyaki Chicken Wings for dinner were alwasys a little treat but this time I surprised the good wife and children with this recipe. This was the first time of using a slow cooker and my god did it work well. The dish takes no time to prepare and placed in the slow cooker for 5 to 6 hours whilst I do what I want. The result is fall of the bone chicken served in a lovely marinade of sherry, garlic, onion, ginger, brown sugar and soy sauce. this mixture gives the chicken flavour and aroma and becomes a perfect little dipping sauce as well.
Teriyaki Chicken Wings
- Place the chicken wings in the slow cooker.
- Combine the remaining ingredients in a separate bowl and stir to combine well.
- Pour over the wings and cook covered on low heat for 5 to 6 hours, stirring gently once halfway through cooking.
