Bengali Panch Phoron is a simple but aromatic spice mixture. All of the spices are seeds and actually means “five spice”. Nigella, fennel, cumin, fenugreek and mustard seeds creates a wonderful hit of flavour and subtle warmth. Also, the mixture can be made in advance and stored for up to a year in an air tight container..
