A cocktail created by Robert “Rosebud” Butt for a Triple Sec competition in Long Island in 1972. A Long Island iced tea is a type of alcoholic mixed drink also known as a cocktail. It’s typically made with vodka, tequila, light rum, triple sec, gin, and a splash of cola. This mixture gives the drink the same amber hue as iced tea.
