  • Place deep sided frying pan over a medium high heat. Add oil.
  • Add the diced onion to the pan and fry until soft.
  • Add the butter and the flour and stir thoroughly creating a roux.
  • Add the beef stock and reduce heat to a simmer for 10 minutes. Stir continuously to make sure there are no lumps.
  • Add the double cream, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard and redcurrant jelly and continue to simmer for a further 10 minutes.
  • Add the precooked meatballs to the gravy and simmer until lovely and warmed.
  • Served with mashed potato for a delicious dish licking meal.
