Like most salads, they’re very easy to create however, few have as much flavour as a Pear and Gorgonzola Salad. The lovely soft pear with the crunch of the walnuts all brought together by the gorgonzola. This sweet Cheesy salad makes a spectacular change from the normal boring ones. I have served this as a main dish but also as a side dish with Lamb is always a winner

A salad with a blue cheese kick. The flavours blend perfectly.

Ingredients
- 6 cups mixed lettuce greens trim, wash,dry
- 1/2 cup vinaigrette sauce
- 2 large pears cored and sliced
- 1/4 lb Gorgonzola crumbled
- 1 cup walnut halves toast/chop
Instructions
- Toss the greens with most of the vinaigrette and divide between individual salad plates.6 cups mixed lettuce greens, 1/2 cup vinaigrette sauce
- Arrange the pear slices on top and sprinkle the Gorgonzola over all.2 large pears, 1/4 lb Gorgonzola
- Top with the toasted walnuts and remaining vinaigrette1 cup walnut halves
