When in Rome you go the the Collosium. When in New York, you must try a Manhattan Cocktail. Believed to originate during prohibition, it is a drink that can kick start a mule. Whilst I use bourbon, it originally contained rye whiskey. Using Maraschino Cherries and a twist of lemon peel.

Ingredients
- 50 ml bourbon or rye whiskey
- 25 ml rosso vermouth
- 5 ml maraschino cherries syrup jar
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 4 cubes ice
- 1 fresh maraschino cherry
- 1 twist lemon peel
Instructions
- Pour all of the ingredients into a large mixing jar.
- Strain the mix into a cocktail glass.
- Garnish and serve
- Enjoy.
