Nectarines are a delicious relative of the Peach with the exception of the fuzzy skin. As with peaches, nectarines can be white or yellow. Nectarines are usually smaller and sweeter than peaches. The lack of a fuzzy coat makes the nectarine appear more reddish than peaches adding to the incorrect association with plums.
