Ingredients
- 1 sheet shortcrust pastry ready-made
- 4 large eggs free range
- 200 ml double cream
- 100 g cheese grated Gruyere or Cheddar
- 8 spears asparagus trimmed and cut into smaller pieces
- 6 medium cherry tomatoes quartered
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- 1 pinch nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease four small pie pans.
- Roll out the shortcrust pastry and cut circles to fit each pan. Press the pastry into the pans and trim the edges. Prick the base with a fork and blind bake for 10 minutes.1 sheet shortcrust pastry
