Blue Cheese Dipping Sauce has to be one of my favourite dips. It goes so well with Chicken wings, raw vegetables, kebabs, bbq and so much more. The simple ingredients means it can be made in advance and is vegetarian. I have spiked this with herbs for salads and toasted pitta triangles. The result was a great success.

Ingredients
- 100 g blue cheese creamy
- 100 ml buttermilk
- 150 ml crème fraiche
- 1 tsp cider vinegar
- 1 small onion peel, finely chop. Or shallot
Instructions
- To make the blue cheese sauce, place all of the ingredients into a glass mixing bowl.
- I use a fork to blend the ingredients together until smooth.
- Add any herbs you like at the end and gently fold them in.
- Served at room temperature to bring out the flavour of the cheese.
Notes
Hence the reason for the onion has to be finely chopped so there are no nasty chunks.
sprinkle herbs over the top for added hit
