Teriyaki Chicken Wings for dinner were always a little treat but this time I surprised the family with this recipe. This was the first time of using a slow cooker and my god did it work well. The dish is quick to prepare and placed in the slow cooker for 5 to 6 hours. It gives me time to do what I want. The result is fall of the bone chicken. The Teriyaki Chicken Wings are served in a lovely marinade of sherry, garlic, onion, ginger, brown sugar and soy sauce. This mixture gives the chicken flavour and aroma and becomes a perfect little dipping sauce as well.

Ingredients
- 2 lb Chicken wings
- 4 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1 tbsp dry Sherry
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
- 1 tsp ginger chopped
Instructions
- Place the chicken wings in the slow cooker.2 lb Chicken wings
- Combine the remaining ingredients in a separate bowl and stir to combine well.
- Pour over the wings and cook covered on low heat for 5 to 6 hours, stirring gently once halfway through cooking.
