A Blueberry and Banana Smoothie may just sound like a drink. Add the porridge oats and you have yourself a meal on the go. This is a “everything” in the blender” recipe so even I can do it. The mix of blueberries and bananas combine so easily they are perfect. My children love this and try lots of different fruits for their perfect flavour.

Ingredients
- 1 large banana ripe, chopped
- 125 g blueberries
- 25 g oats porridge
- 15 g wheat germ
- 1 tsp honey
- 75 ml semi-skimmed milk
Instructions
- Pour all the ingredients in a blender or food processor together and whiz until smooth
- Thin with extra milk if necessary
