Ingredients
 

Instructions

  • Place the flour, oats and sugar into a bowl and sift in the soda and ground cinnamon.
    125 g wholemeal Flour, 50 g oats, 75 g caster sugar, ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda, 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Mix thoroughly
  • Add the butter, syrup and milk into a saucepan and gently heat until the butter has melted. Stir continually.
    75 g butter, 1 tbsp golden syrup, 1 tbsp milk
  • Pour into the dry indredients and beat until lovely and smooth.
  • Preheat the oven to 180C/350F Gas mark 4
  • Shape into balls and place onto a greased baking tray slightly apart and flatten with a spatula.
  • Place the biscuits into th oven and bake for 15 or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool on the baking tray before "testing".
