Ingredients
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 small cabbage cored and shredded
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 cup drained sauerkraut optional
- 1/2 lb egg noodles See notes
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt to taste
- ground pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the butter in a large skillet over moderate heat and saute the cabbage and onion until tender but not brown, about 10 minutes.4 tbsp vegetable oil, 1 small cabbage, 1 medium onion
- Add the sauerkraut and season with salt and pepper.1 cup drained sauerkraut, Salt, ground pepper
- Add the cooked noodles and stir to combine.1/2 lb egg noodles
- Serve garnished with the toasted bread crumbs.1/4 cup bread crumbs, 1 tbsp butter

Note: Cook the Noodles according to the package directions and drain once cooked.
