  • Heat the butter in a large skillet over moderate heat and saute the cabbage and onion until tender but not brown, about 10 minutes.
    4 tbsp vegetable oil, 1 small cabbage, 1 medium onion
  • Add the sauerkraut and season with salt and pepper.
    1 cup drained sauerkraut, Salt, ground pepper
  • Add the cooked noodles and stir to combine.
    1/2 lb egg noodles
  • Serve garnished with the toasted bread crumbs.
    1/4 cup bread crumbs, 1 tbsp butter

Notes

Note: Cook the Noodles according to the package directions and drain once cooked.
