Like most salads, they’re very easy to create however, few have as much flavour as a Pear and Gorgonzola Salad. The lovely soft pear with the crunch of the walnuts all brought together by the gorgonzola. This sweet Cheesy salad makes a spectacular change from the normal boring ones. I have served this as a main dish but also as a side dish with Lamb is always a winner

Instructions

  • Toss the greens with most of the vinaigrette and divide between individual salad plates.
    6 cups mixed lettuce greens, 1/2 cup vinaigrette sauce
  • Arrange the pear slices on top and sprinkle the Gorgonzola over all.
    2 large pears, 1/4 lb Gorgonzola
  • Top with the toasted walnuts and remaining vinaigrette
    1 cup walnut halves
