Bacon and Tomato Noodles
Ingredients
- 150 g noodles egg noodles
- 4 rashers streaky bacon chopped
- 2 medium tomatoes diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- ½ tsp sugar
- ½ tsp chilli flakes optional
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 large spring onion sliced (for garnish)
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Boil water in a pot and cook the noodles according to packet instructions. Drain and set aside.150 g noodles
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the rendered fat in the pan.1 tbsp vegetable oil, 4 rashers streaky bacon
- In the same pan, add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add the diced tomatoes and cook until they soften and break down into a sauce (about 5 minutes).2 cloves garlic, 2 medium tomatoes
