Gingerbread Cutouts is a recipe I’ve been using for as long as I can remember. My mother made these for me and I made then for my children and now grandchildren. It was one of the recipes that got me interested in cooking as like most children making a mess you can actually eat is brilliant. There are a number of spices being ginger, cinnamon and cloves in the recipe which gives its amazing flavour. The molasses supplies the colour. Don’t forget to have your favourite shape cutters ready to personalize the cookies. Serve as a snack or as a dessert with cream for a perfect finish to a dish.
