  • Combine all ingredients except the parsley in a pot and bring to a boil over high heat.
    6 large chicken breast, 2 large onions, 1 whole cinnamon stick, 2 cups chicken stock, 15 oz chickpeas, 1/2 cup blanched almonds, 1/2 tsp saffron, salt, ground pepper
  • Reduce the heat and simmer covered until the chicken is cooked through, about 30 minutes.
  • Serve garnished with chopped parsley.
