Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter 30 ml
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour 30 ml
- 1 cup milk 250 ml
- 1/4 cup heavy cream 60 ml
- 1 tsp white vinegar 5 ml
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard 5 ml
- 1 tsp dry English mustard 5 ml
- salt to taste
- freshly ground pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the butter in a small saucepan over moderate heat.
- Stir in the flour and cook for 3 minutes.
- Stir in the milk and bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
- Add the remaining ingredients and stir to combine thoroughly.
