  • In a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add peppers and saute for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
    2 medium green bell pepper, 2 medium red bell pepper, 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Add water and pepper; continue sauteing for 4 to 5 minutes or until peppers are tender. Stir in basil and remove from heat.
    2 tbsp water, 1 pinch ground black pepper, 1/2 tsp basil
  • Spread rice over a serving platter, spoon peppers and liquid on top, and serve.
    2 cups pilau rice

Notes

A lovely side dish for a meat/fish dish.
