A Warm porridge smoothie is a fast breakfast by adding some warm porridge oats makes a great winter breakfast. This is one of those comforting recipes when you are hungry and cold. Porridge smoothie is both refreshing and a meal which can be flavoured with the fruit you love. Using semi skimmed milk and natural yoghurt this becomes a healthier option that children will actually enjoy instead of the additive packed normal cereal in a box.
Warm Porridge Smoothie
- Place the oats and milk in a small saucepan and simmer for 2 minutes
- Pour into a liquidiser of food processor with the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth
