Apricot Baked Ham is a simple dish that is ideal for so many uses. Whether it be part of a main dish, side dish or even as part of a buffet. The simple recipe transforms a normal ham into a delight that will bring a smile to everyones face. This can be served with roast potatoes, and vegetables for a main course or as a side dish with a buffet. However, one of my favourites in cold in a sandwich with a little pickle. The pickle acts as a contrast to the apricot jam (conserve) and works so well. Using a baked ham makes life easier or you can start from scratch and adapt our Glazed Ham recipe. Apricot Baked Ham is a superb main dish all year round but especially at Christmas when cold meat meals are ideal after days of roast meals. You can of course use other furit conserves but apricot is sweet without being overpowering.

The apricot jam goes so well with the ham and mustard. It tastes superb even cold served with chutney and chips
I made Apricot Baked Ham for a family gathering, and it was a hit! The apricot jam added a fruity sweetness that balanced beautifully with the savoury ham.
I made this for Easter dinner, and it was a standout dish. The glaze was rich and flavourful, with the perfect hint of sweetness from the apricot jam and brown sugar. The cloves made it feel festive, and the ham was moist and tender.
It also made fantastic leftovers for sandwiches the next day. This recipe is going in my book.
It was easy to prepare and perfect for a meal all year round. Highly recommend
The apricot jam and mustard mixture added a depth of flavour that was unexpected but delightful. Scoring the ham and inserting the cloves was a little time-consuming but worth it for the presentation. The smell while it baked was heavenly, and it tasted even better.
It was so easy to prepare but looked and tasted like I’d spent hours in the kitchen.
This recipe was incredibly straightforward, and the result was amazing. The combination of mustard and apricot jam created a unique tangy-sweet flavour that complemented the ham perfectly.
I served it with roasted vegetables, and everyone loved it.
This recipe strikes the perfect balance between elegance and simplicity.
While I enjoyed this dish, I felt the sweetness overpowered the ham slightly. Next time, I might use less brown sugar or add more mustard to balance it out.
