Whether you are celebrating Thanksgiving or Christmas or any roast meal that involves turkey, you must have Cranberry Sauce – Mamas style. I grew up on this and still can’t wait for the first piece of turkey with the sauce on top. What makes this sauce even better is that it is perfect with cold turkey as well as hot. It doesn’t matter whether you think of it as a side-dish or sauce, it is essential to have on the table. The longer you leave the Cranberry Sauce the more intense the flavour. I normally make it a day or so in advance .
