A Cranberry is a small hard, sour, and bitter berry that is mainly used to make Cranberry Juice and Sauce. Due to their strong flavour, the juice is often diluted with other less acidic fruit juices. Cranberry sauce or jelly is traditionally served with Turkey at Thanksgiving and Christmas. They are ideal for use in muffins, breads and cakes. Apart from its use at Christmas and Thanksgiving, Cranberries are famous for their inclusion in cocktails such as the Cosmopolitan and Cranberry Martini and the Bay Breeze.
