Honey Mango Chutney

Honey Mango Chutney is a very easy recipe that is so full of flavour.  The kick of the mango with the sweetness of the honey combine to make a superb chutney. Used with ham, chicken and turkey takes a snacks/sandwich to a new level.  This chutney can be made in advance stored in an airtight container for a later date.

A superb chutney for meats and the ultimate sandwich. Spread lightly over cooked ham or as a relish makes a good sandwich a superb one.

  • In medium skillet combine mango, raisins, onion, bell pepper, dates, apple and garlic.
  • In bowl combine honey, cider vinegar and cinnamon. Pour into skillet and mix well. Bring to boil, decrease heat to high simmer and cook for about 40 minutes stirring occasionally.
  • Cool and refrigerate for up to 10 days.
