Osso Buco

Osso Bucco - TheRecipe.Website

Osso Buco or Oss Bus is a classic Milanese recipe that goes back centuries. The name means “bone with a hole” in reference to the marrow hole in the veal shank. It is a slow cooked meal that will fill the home with an aroma, taste and an experience to remember. Due to the lengthy cooking time, I put this on before I go to work and it is ready on my return. Also it gives the impression that I have been slaving over a stove all day!!!! Like so many Italian recipes, this is packed full of flavour from the region. Similar recipes include Chicken CacciatoreMilanese Risotto and Classic Ravioli.
