Ingredients
- 900 g pork shoulder
- 2.5 cm ginger peeled and thinly sliced
- 4 cloves garlic peeled and crushed
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 carton orange juice
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
Instructions
- Take 2lb lean boneless collar, shoulder or leg joint; cut string off joint and flatten out.
- Cut into 6-8 large chunks removing any excess fat.900 g pork shoulder
- In an oven-proof casserole, mix together root ginger, garlic, squashed, soy sauce, carton orange juice, sesame oil, brown sugar and hoisin sauce.2.5 cm ginger, 4 cloves garlic, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 carton orange juice, 1 tsp sesame oil, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- Add pork chunks and mix together.
- Cover with lid and cook for about 2 hours until meat
